ASBU MENOS provides Graphical User Interfaces GUI for SITs at each member. Bookings are ordered directly by the user, the system confirms the booking automatically after checking availability of needed satellite and equipment resources. The contributor specifies which SITs have the right to receive the content. Users of SITs that were given the right to receive then decide if they like to join or not. Exchanges are always secure and protected.

ASBU Menos also provides Exchanges from/to Central Archive which contains items that were previously exchanged with Central Archive option, or items directly saved at Central Archive. These exchanges can be executed as stream or file transfer.

The contributor decides on the quality profile for the booking It can be Stereo or Mono for Radio, and SD or HD for TV, with multiple options of bitrate and audio channels.

For digital TV channels, reservations are made by pre-order from the ASBU Center coordination service through the dedicated web form or by telephone and e-mail. The coordination service shall confirm the required reservation after ascertaining the availability of satellite resources.
